So I decided I needed a haircut after growing my hair out for my stint as Harry Potter...a little short, but I needed a change. Posted by Picasa

Me and the snitch Posted by Picasa

Heres my costume for Monday...I dressed it down a little to look a little younger and more student-ish then the more traditional prep school type clothes I was wearing Saturday night. Also, since Sarah was not here to be the snitch, I had made a snitch out of a toy ball and carved the wings out of foam and painted it all up, attached it to a wire, which was attached to my back. Posted by Picasa

Here he is again demonstrating the difficulties of walking and wearing a giant blocky costume. Posted by Picasa

Mark, one of the other kids from UC went as a lego man. He spent a considerable amount of time after work lastThursday night making this costume before we drove back to Cincinnati, then wore it for the contest Monday morning. I think the detachable hair was a nice touch. Posted by Picasa

these guys definitely won best department, as they were one of 2 eligible departments in the competition...and the others were mousketeers. Note that the tree in the background is a costume, not a real plant (you can't see the guy's face in the picture). Posted by Picasa

a good edward scissor-hands. He won scariest costume. Posted by Picasa

all kinds of weird costumes ensued, such as stilts guy....also in the background, although unrecognizable is a pregnant nun with a sign that says "nun of your business" on her habit Posted by Picasa

while I was a little worried when I first came to work since I didn't see anyone dressed up, some people definitely took the costume contest seriously. This ghost busters costume was spot on, with lights and portable soundtrack. Posted by Picasa

We came back from seeing Noises Off at out music college on campus Saturday afternoon and Sarah hurried to finish the scarf as her cat Gerber attacked everything in sight. Posted by Picasa

Sarah and I went out to a costume party on the Saturday before Halloween that was way out in the suburbs of Cincinnati...pretty close to King's Island Really. I went as Harry Potter and Sarah was the golden snitch. As you can see, I caught her. Posted by Picasa
