Niagara close up

I ran around this island the next morning, quite scenic, although the weather was awful...cold and rainy 

straightforward enough, a casino on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls 

rapid water 

There are lots of birds that fly in the mist looking for food at the falls 

I took this picture over the summer...as I contemplated what to do about a hornet that I found in the bathroom, the situation kind of worked itself out. As I watched the intense battle between the insect and the spider with an interest similar to that of a car wreck, I decided I should document this odd even with some pictures, so here you see he result. After much furious struggling and careful calculation by the spider to subdue the hornet without being stung by the searching abdomen and stinger, the hornet ceased its struggling.
